Only Copy Recorded of this anonymous collection of over one thousand books in German and Latin (with scattered Dutch and French titles), predominantly theology with some science, medicine, literature, philology and history. The books are organized by format, large to small, with one main section and an appendix. The author, title and date are given for each. A note to “foreign book lovers” says their absentee bids can be sent to local cantor Sigfrid or bookbinder Mertens. I have located one earlier sale in Bielefeld (1685). In good condition.
