We find technical discussions of instruments, detailed notes on sailing conditions and maneuvers, a multilingual guide to compass points, descriptions of watercraft and definitions of hardtack, neutral ports and types of sails. I have not located a copy in the U.S. In good condition (scattered light foxing); contemporary manuscript inscription on the flyleaf.
