First Edition. This tourist guide shepherds the visitor around scenic Lake Starnberg, remarking on its castles’ art and architecture, the guest house and library run by Miss Henrietta Trevor, historical anecdotes, etc. Birds and game, hunter’s tricks, watercraft and recipes also figure prominently, The Starnberg whitefish is described here for the first time. I have not found an example of this or the later printing in a U.S. library. In good condition.
