Second Edition. Book hunter J.A. Parrhasius (1470-1534) rediscovered the sole early manuscript at Bobbio, where it was almost certainly written in the 7th/8th-century (Naples BN IV A/8). This Latin grammar is valuable for identifying the sources of its borrowings. Georg Fabricius (1516-71) edited the text and corrected the numerous errors in the first printing (1531). From the libraries of the French statesman, historian and bibliophile J.-A. de Thou (1553-1617), his heirs, J.-J. Charron marquis de Ménars (1643-1718), Card.
